Gazing lovingly into one another’s eyes, newlyweds Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall beamed with delight outside the ‘spiritual home of the media’.
The 84-year-old media mogul and former supermodel, 59, reaffirmed vows made yesterday at their legally binding civil ceremony in front of a host of famous faces, from rock stars to Cabinet ministers.
Hall wore a Vivienne Westwood ‘ice-blue’ chiffon gown – believed to have cost £8,000 – with a beaded veil and headband and entered the ‘journalists’ church’ with son James, 30, on her arm.
When asked by photographers how the service went, Hall replied: ‘Absolutely wonderful, absolutely wonderful.’
Prior to her grand arrival, Murdoch, 84, was pictured smiling for the cameras with his sons Lachlan and James. They wore dark navy suits with a single white rose in their pockets.
The couple’s daughters from their previous relationships acted as bridesmaids, holding flowers and wearing different shades of blue
