An exhibit for young and old, and everyone in-between, the ‘Toys Through Time’ exhibit at The Museum Of Sydney provides a unique look at the beloved toys of children through time.
With over 200 original toys, you are guaranteed to reminisce on the wonderful memories of the toys you played with as a child. While the exhibit is focused on Australian toys, the collection also features internationally iconic toys such as Paddington Bear, Mickey Mouse, and the Monopoly board game that people of all ages and backgrounds will recognise.
This exhibit is great to take your parents to, where they will be sure to take a trip down memory lane at the 50s Barbies, Tin Toys, Lego or Meccano.
A very rare item in the exhibit is one of the oldest dolls in Australia from 1805. The collection as a whole dates from colonial times through to the 1970s, making the collection a very interesting and unique experience.
The exhibition will be on until August 9, 2015 at The Museum of Sydney.
